Blended Piña Colada

It’s cold and rainy today, so it’s hardly the right time for blended Piña Coladas. Or maybe it’s the perfect time?

I know Erick Castro had some sort of riff that used Green Chartreuse but I couldn’t find the specs (a social media friend later pointed out that it was called the Piña Verde and could be found here). So I just made a standard issue Piña Colada and split the base between Wray & Nephew and Green Chartreuse. I feel like I unlocked a secret level– I’ve always liked Piña Coladas but this was just 🤯🤯

Blended Pina Colada

ingredients:

3 oz Jamaican rum (or split 50/50 rum and Green Chartreuse)

1½ oz creme of coconut

1½ oz pineapple juice

¾ oz fresh lime juice

Handful of ice

instructions:

Combine ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour and garnish with pineapple fronds.

Technically this makes two drinks but I won’t tell you what to do!
