Frozen Martini

My freezer has been a bit crowded lately.

I never liked keeping booze in the freezer– despite that being a pretty normal practice for a lot of people. I don’t know– but it just never felt very “classy”?

Well, I’m over myself now, and I cannot keep myself from filling my freezer with little bottles full of batched cocktails. Lately, I’m all about a Frozen Martini.

Of course, the drink itself doesn’t actually freeze. Since a martini is mostly spirit (in my case gin, but sure you can go with vodka) the liquid will just get nicely chilled without solidifying. When you’re ready to serve or enjoy, just remove the bottle from the freezer and pour into a glass along with lemon zest.
