Suffering Bastard

This drink was created in Cairo, Egypt during WWII and is one of my favorite tiki drinks!



1 oz bourbon

1oz dry gin

1/2 oz fresh lime juice

1/4 oz Demerara syrup

2 dashes aromatic bitters

4 oz ginger beer

Garnish: Fresh mint & orange wheel


Add cracked ice to highball or pilsner glass then add the ginger beer. Add the rest of ingredients to shaker and shake with ice. Strain into glass on top of the ginger beer and give it a light stir. Garnish with fresh mint and an orange slice.
